Other than a cute name What makes The Light Before Christmas different from other holiday light hanging companies?
Our Mission is simple:
To brighten up homes, businesses and neighbourhoods, of family, friends, and customers by professionally installing holiday & Christmas lights/decor with care and quality.
I have my own lights and displays, will The Light Before Christmas hang my lights?
Absolutely! If you have your lights from season’s past, we will be more than happy to go through them, and hang them. If you require new lights, ask us first, we buy in bulk and can pass along our savings to you.
If I call in late Summer or early fall can I receive a discount?
Yes, as a matter of fact we encourage you to call and book an installation as early as possible. As long as you want your lights INSTALLED, on or before October 30, you will receive a 15% discount on installation. Please note that your installation must take place on or before October 30 (NOT BOOKED BEFORE OCTOBER 30, WITH A LATER INSTALL DATE).
The reason for the discount is because the weather is usually milder, and we are not as busy. As we get closer to December 25, our work load increases, usually working full time from November 1 onwards.
If you are concerned that your lights will be put up too early, remember that just because your lights are installed, does not mean you have to have the lights turned on.

How do you come up with your installation quote?
A number of factors come into play when estimating an installation. The number of lines of lights, the pitch of the roof, the number and height of trees and bushes, the number of sides of a home or commercial property, the complexity of the install, the location of power, and lastly the amount of time it will take to complete the job.
Do you maintain the lights that you install throughout the season?
We have a 24 hour hot line 1.877.604.9627 that we encourage all of our customers to call if there is a problem. We are not satisfied unless all of our customers are satisfied.
We know that there is a good chance that you will need your lights installed next year, and we want to be the company that you choose.
Do you only perform Christmas light installations, or will you help me with my wreaths, mechanicals and inflatables?
The Light Before Christmas will be happy to assist you with ALL of your holiday decorating needs indoor and outdoor.
